Keep Hope Alive Ministry
Emma’s Cancer Care Ministry is a heartfelt outreach dedicated to bringing comfort, hope, and the love of Christ to those walking through the difficult journey of cancer. Being a cancer survivor herself, she knows how much the word “hope” can help someone. Through thoughtfully prepared cancer care baskets filled with encouraging items—such as Scripture cards, journals, soft blankets, and soothing teas—Emma and her team seek to remind patients that they are not alone. Each basket is a tangible expression of compassion, designed to meet both spiritual and emotional needs during a time when strength can feel out of reach.
In addition to the care baskets, Emma regularly visits hospitals to pray with patients, offer words of encouragement, and simply be a caring presence in a time of vulnerability. Her ministry is rooted in the belief that small acts of love can make a big difference. Whether through bedside visits, follow-up support, or simply sitting in silence with someone in pain, Emma’s Cancer Ministry reflects God’s gentle care and unwavering hope in the face of life’s hardest battles.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
Matthew 25:35-36
I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

Seed Of Empowerment Ministry
Emma’s Seeds of Empowerment Ministry is a faith-based initiative dedicated to uplifting and supporting women within their community and beyond. Rooted in compassion, prayer, and action, this ministry provides a welcoming space where every woman—regardless of her background or circumstances—can find encouragement, strength, financial help, and spiritual guidance. The name “Seeds of Empowerment” reflects the ministry’s core mission: planting hope, cultivating confidence, and nurturing the growth of women through God’s love.
At the heart of the ministry is a commitment to providing practical and emotional support during the annual women’s conference and throughout the year. Whether someone is facing a personal challenge, seeking mentorship, or needing a little seed money – the ministry offers resources, listening ears, and a supportive network of fellow women who care. Attendees are encouraged to share their stories and receive the kind of encouragement that helps them step forward with renewed purpose and faith.
Every woman who takes part in Emma’s Seeds of Empowerment Conference walks away knowing she is not alone. The ministry’s team believes that even the smallest seed of support, when nurtured with love and faith, can lead to transformation. With workshops, one-on-one prayer support, and community connections, the ministry continues to grow—one woman, one story, and one seed at a time.

Marsha Ann Twiggs was a grateful recipient of the Seeds of Empowerment. After walking through her own personal journey as a young mother, Ann felt a deep calling to help others facing similar challenges. She is now launching a home for teen mothers – New Start Home Maternity Program – a safe haven where young women can find shelter, guidance, and hope for a brighter future.
Secret Closet Prayer
The Secret Closet Prayer is a virtual, powerful gathering held every Thursday, where Emma and anyone who feels led can come together for an intimate time of prayer and worship. Inspired by Matthew 6:6, this meeting creates a sacred space where hearts are opened, burdens are lifted, and voices are raised in both spoken and unspoken prayer. Whether someone is seeking healing, clarity, strength, or simply the peace that comes from being in God’s presence, this time is a weekly refuge.
Everyone is welcome—no experience or expectations, just a willingness to come as you are. Alongside heartfelt prayer, the group listens to worship songs that guide the atmosphere. Sometimes it’s just two or three gathered in quiet agreement; other times, more join in, creating a chorus of faith and unity. The Secret Closet Prayer is not about performance or perfection—it’s about connection: with God, with each other, and with the still, small voice that speaks when we make room to listen.
